1. Introduction
Thank you for playing Word Vistas. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and what rights you have. By installing and playing Word Vistas, you agree to the practices described here.
Word Vistas is a free mobile game containing four mini-games: Word Search, Word Puzzle, Ball Sort, and Bubble Shooter. The app is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information We Collect Directly

We do not maintain any backend servers, user accounts, or cloud databases.
2.2 Information Collected by Third-Party SDKs
Google AdMob (Advertising)
Google AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers — Android Advertising ID (GAID) and other identifiers as applicable.
- IP address — which may be used to infer approximate location, such as country or region.
- Device information — including device model, operating system version, screen size, and language.
- App usage data — such as which ads were shown, clicked, or dismissed.
- Interest and demographic inferences — which may be generated by Google based on relevant activity and available signals.
AdMob may use this information to serve personalised or contextual advertisements. Google acts as an independent data controller for data it collects through its services.

You can manage advertising preferences on Android through the Google advertising settings available on your device. Depending on your Android version, this may include options such as deleting or resetting the advertising ID or opting out of personalised advertising.
3. How We Use Information

We do not use your data for:

- Building user profiles on our own servers.

4. Children and COPPA / GDPR-K
Word Vistas is rated Everyone (E) and is designed for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13 years old.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us at okoh.emmanuel.dev@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to address the request and remove applicable information where required.
For our AdMob integration, we have configured the app with a
maxAdContentRating of T (Teen) or lower and
have not tagged the app as directed to children under COPPA, as the
content is not designed for that audience.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties, except:
- Google AdMob — receives device and usage data as described in Section 2.2 to provide advertising services. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Legal obligations — where disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or a regulatory authority.
6. Data Retention
- On-device data (game progress, player name, and settings) is retained until you uninstall the app or clear the app data through your Android settings.
- Ad-related data is retained by Google according to Google's applicable data retention policies.
7. Security
Game data is stored using Android's
SharedPreferences mechanism, which is sandboxed to the app.
No game data is transmitted to our servers because we do not operate
backend servers for Word Vistas.
We take reasonable precautions to protect information processed locally, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights:

9. Advertising Consent (EEA / UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Google's Consent Management Platform (CMP) may present you with a consent dialog when you first open the app.
This allows you to choose whether to receive:
- Personalised ads — based on relevant interests and signals, where consent is provided and applicable.
- Non-personalised ads — contextual advertising that does not rely on personalised advertising consent.
Depending on the implementation and device, you may be able to change or withdraw your advertising consent through the consent controls provided by the app or Google.

Word Vistas does not contain direct links to external websites. However, advertisements served through AdMob may link to third-party websites or services.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those third-party sites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
For material changes, we may also update the relevant Google Play Store listing information where appropriate.
